Bempedoic acid question

Hi all.My lipid consultant has prescribed me Bempedoic acid tablets as I can't take statins and although I've lost 2 stone in weight and watching my diet very carefully my triglycerides are still high.

Do any of you take this with RA? I've read that you need to be careful with these tablets with RA as we are prone to tendon issues and bempedoic acid has this side affect too.

I'm a bit worried as I have enough problems plus the doc I see doesn't seem that thorough in going into stuff.

I will ask my rheumy what she thinks but just wondered if any of you are on this too.

I know there are no contraindications with Benepali and sulfasalazine.

I take bempedoic acid alongside my RA drugs and haven’t had any issues.
