I'm sorry to hear about your mum, it must be very distressing for her and for you and your sister. I hope you get your appointment soon and that things improve greatly for you. That's a lovely drawing, you are very talented. 😊
What a stunning drawing of a beautiful cat! I hope that the treatment you are given helps you to manage your pain. I think most of the treatments for Rheumatoid Arthritis can take a while to start working, so try to be patient if you possibly can. Good luck!
You have a wonderful gift , you’re very good at your drawings . Your cat looks like my cat that got ill and had to be put to sleep. I miss my cat. …. I am wishing you all the best with your moving and as you say you will get a new doctor. Is your mum moving with you ? Love to you both.

I am under Dr Bawendi who works out of the Wrexham Maelor hospital and he has been amazing. Not sure if he may work out of Bodelwyddan too, but he does do a clinic at Deeside Community Hospital which is local to me. The rheumy nurses are brilliant too.
I was diagnosed two years ago I’m 50 in March and it has taken me almost two years to find the right medication and although I am now on Biological injections, it is early days and my joints are still very sore. I’m a month in so will give it six months and hope to see improvements.

Hello Poh. There are a lot of treatments for rheumatoid arthritis. If the first treatment doesn't work for you then keep on trying with your doctors help and hopefully you will find a treatment that works for you. My mother and grandmother both had rheumatoid arthritis and I started with it when I was in my late thirties. My mother and grandmother were much worse than I am because there weren't many treatments in their day. In my case, thanks to various medications available now, I was able to continue working and I'm now 68. I'm not saying it's been easy but I'm still walking. Good luck and don't give up.
well done you what an amazing talent you have, you are at the start of your journey but things will settle down just keep reading on this lovely supportive site we all have different ways of coping and it keeps us positive by sharing with each other 😄
I to love drawing but it’s not often more recently I have been working on my colouring book 🤩
