hi I have RA, currently on methotrexate and have been on Amgevita biological but moving to a new one on Monday.
having lots of problems with wrists/ hands so I was given a steroid injection on my backside on Thursday; well since then I really feel awful, I have awful dry mouth, very fatigued aching and just generally rubbish. Usually after injection I feel much better but just isn’t helping.
Has anyone had this? I would have thought 6 days on it would be easing…
Sounds more like a bug? There’s a lot of bad colds about.
You are so right…where I live we are all trying to work out if we have a bug, , a virus or if it’s the after effects of this years Flu vaccination!
Whatever it is….I want rid ASAP!

Yes thank you..I think it was my upper jaw rather than my teeth. ..but the Flu jab effects still linger. Thank goodness I can just sit at home feeling sorry for myself 😩
And nothing better than feeling sorry for yourself with a hot drink , TV on and a spot of internet shopping. Xx
Too. Right….I just bought a car battery jump starter! Having left my car lights on resulting in a flat battery.
This gadget is supposed to be foolproof…altho I have no intention of using it myself! But I’m sure some macho man will want to “have a go” to prove it maybe advertised as foolproof…but it’s not!

I had same injection on 21/10. It has made no difference to my hands wrists etc still in agony but I feel fine ?

I've had a few steroid injections which I always rest after getting but never felt unwell afterwards. Maybe something else causing this rest up !
