It's a lottery..I play' the whats going to hurt the most when I move', every morning. RA likes to keep us on our toes for sure 👍 Just keep an eye on things and ring your rheumy team or your GP if you feel the need. You might need some extra pain killers, or sympathy from others We give that in abundance here. Hope you feel better soon 🌹 ps apparently cake and chocolate work as well x
Hello, it's quite possible that it is RA. It could also be completely unrelated. Whichever it is, it's never too early to start specific exercises. I had shoulder problems after a long enforced period without RA drugs and followed the exercises in the attached link. They helped when done regularly. May worth giving it a try? Good luck.nhsinform.scot/illnesses-an...
Almost all my joints were affected when I first began to have symptoms, from my jaw to my toes! Many years later thankfully I’m in remission due to Mthx and Sulfasalazine.
About 2 years into my RA journey I suddenly developed isolated pain in my shoulder, where the ACL is situated, my Rheumatologist sent me for an ultrasound and X-ray, and it was an injury not my RA. It took about a year of physio and painkillers when needed, but it’s much better now compared to how it was.
So maybe it is that, not RA related maybe?
Could they do an x-Ray or an ultrasound for you so you could be sure?
Feeling along my collar bone with my arms down (relaxed) I have a bump on both sides out near the shoulder end of the clavicle.
Right side feels bigger than left side. I’m just worried about the bumps. They’ve probably been there forever, but just noticed right side slightly more protruding.
Wasn’t sure if that the end of the bone (hence a joint) or something else.
