Morning 😃. So Covid feels like a cold today after testing positive yesterday. I got a call from hospital today to say that they can offer me antivirals as I’ve had cortisone and depo and I’m at day 5 of symptoms as apparently these injections lower your immunity ? ( not on RA drugs yet ). Anyone come across this? Must say excellent service from NHS . Thanks in advance ☺️

Hi, yes I had Paxlovid a couple of years ago. It seemed to take the worst of it off but I still had a bad chest afterwards. I'm just getting over Covid again, tested positive a couple of weeks ago. It has been like a bad cold, with a temperature etc. I'm just clearing the crap from my lungs this last few days. Not sure whether I should've had the Paxlovid again, whether it would've made that much difference to be fair. It depends how healthy you are otherwise I suppose.

Hi there. Sounds similar with my current covid , more sneezing and coughing, think I’ll give this med a go and hope for the best with no side effects !. Hope you begin to feel better soon 🤞
