hello all, I haven’t been on here for quite a while but today I received a letter from Leicester Rheumatology saying that they are changing my biological from Imraldi to Yuflyma and from Sciensus to Personal Homecare Pharmacy. I personally have had no problems with Sciensus although some people have. Has anyone else on here been changed to another biological and new provider, of so how was it? It took me some time to get use to using Imraldi and like many on here I have other health problems so changes can be quite challenging, I would be crossing my fingers if I could🤞

Hi! Leicester here too. My new drug company: Alcura who deliver my Upadacitinib are excellent. Was on Baricitinib before with Sciensus who were ok for me but not as good as Alcura.

I have a friend who had to switch, it’s a biosimilar, so they say it should still be effective. Apparently yulfylma has no citrate, so shouldn’t sting, is what he was told. Fingers crossed things go smoothly 🤞

Hi there, I've just started yuflyma too (though it's my first biologic so nothing to compare it to) and it's been fine so far. As Runrig says, there's no citrate and it's a lower volume injection pen, which together are supposed to reduce stinginess and discomfort. It's been fine for me so far, little or no discomfort, and no obvious side effects. In my area it's delivered by HealthNet Homecare who've been absolutely great with deliveries but rubbish when any other kind of communication is needed! Hope your switch goes smoothly for you.
