hydroxychloroquine and stuffy itchy nose with occasional bleeding.

My rheumatologist added hydroxychloroquine to my methotrexate regiment for my rheumatoid arthritis. After a few weeks on the hydroxychloroquine, my nose has become itchy and stuffed up, especially when lying down and I am having trouble sleeping. Has anyone else had this problem?

Why don’t you ask your pharmacist for a natural nasal spray. It’s probably nothing to do with the medication…more likely central heating as it has been so cold we have all been turning it up too often.,

Agree with you had this before hydroxychloroquine worse in winter just had cold for 10 days so same. Nothing in side effects list but ask pharmacy
