Has anyone had experience with the Novavax vaccine? My RA onset was shortly following my third MRNA at the end of 2021. No proof of relationship of course, but it has left me nervous to vax again. I have a chance to get the newly updated Novavax next week. Wondering if anyone had an inflammatory response to an MRBA but responded better with Novavax.

Have you had COVID? I have, despite all the vaccinations, and I don't want it again. I trust the science so would take the vaccine. As you say, just because two events happen within a short space of time, it doesn't show they are related. However, we're often poor at judging risk and reward - just look at people buying a lottery ticket and packet of cigarettes at the same time!
There is a risk of an inflammatory response after any immunisation, after all, that's what the stimulus is intended to do - provoke your immune system into activity, although it is intended to be as targeted as possible.
Novavax has reported that its updated COVID vaccine can generate an immune response against emerging strains of the coronavirus, such as the Omicron subvariant EG.5, based on small studies in animals. There's a brief comparison here of the vaccines: yalemedicine.org/news/covid...
I opted for nonavax since mrna covid vaccines make me feel achy in joints and very fatigued for a couple of days. I did not have any adverse reaction to novavax. Incidentally, I did get the rsv vaccine which is an mrna vaccine, but did not have any side effects.
