My doctor put me on Otezla for RA. I read where this drug is mainly for different types of Psoriasis. I have been on lt dor 2 weeks and my RAis getting worse. Anyone been prescribed this drug for RA and if so, is your RA getting better.?

seems to be used in psoriatic arthritis, if you haven’t been diagnosed with this I’d check with your doctors but it can take a while to work so of course symptoms can get worse until it does.
In the UK Otzela has been approved for use in PsA but as far as I can see not for RA. You may wish to query why your doctor has prescribed this at this stage of your treatment. It may be your doctor feels your inflammatory arthritis is more PsA than RA. Many medications are used for both forms of inflammatory arthritis but so far this one hasn't been approved for RA by NICE but may be undergoing clinical trials but I can't currently find that information. To put your mind at rest there's no harm in just asking your doctor to clarify if your diagnosis has been changed to PsA.
