Hello Minka.

Did you mean to post on the NRAS site as I noticed from your other posts you usually post elsewhere.

Yes I only have an idea of what I've got that has come back. Enthesis/ lupus / atheritus.

Gottarelax’s post says exactly what I would say too. Did that for myself and physio was a godsend. Hydrotherapy too for strengthening those joints.

I have a similar issue and went to a sports physiologist for gait analysis. They tested how I stepped and then prescribed orthotics to improve it. It was quite expensive but worthwhile. I had custom made orthotics at first but found some off the shelf ones that did the trick for additional shoes.

The trouble is if you are walking differently to compensate for your ankle hurting you then can cause other problems as you have seen with your knees, hips and back. Has your doctor given you anything other than orthotics? I found it took a while to get used to wearing them before I saw any improvement in my gait. If it’s been a while you can always talk to your doctors to see if there’s any other options. (Apologies if this is the usual treatment, I don’t know about enthesis)

Enthesis is ligament inflamation I've been wearing them 3 week kittyj and my knee is twisting a 1/4 inch inwards everytime I put my foot down the underside of my feet. Ache like mad especially in hot weather. And your right gets you on better leg and hip just about all the chain all the way up. What did you find on yours

I found mine helped a huge amount but my problem was different to yours. Give the people who gave you orthotics a call and ask them about what you think is happening but to be honest a quarter of and inch isn’t much movement at all and I wouldn’t expect a joint to stay in a perfect straight line when weight is put on it mine don’t but I’m not a doctor so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kitty my other knee doesn't do it at all. My ankle goes in and knee twists inwards. Even the orthotics don't stop it. Does yours twist in at all? It's probably part and parcel to my enthesis if that private rumie is right. But I don't think I will get a new knee .I've pulled this back from 2 operations now each one a bodge job make do
