can MTX be taken the day after it’s due?

I’ve done this before but remember you need to take them every Tuesday thereafter.
Yes you can and you don't have to change your day either. Info from my mtx booklet. You have to tap the photo to read info at the top.
Agree with Paula. I’ve taken mine a day late occasionally and rheumatologist has always said to stick to my usual day. I have the same booklet, with the same advice. No point taking if you feel sick, a risk vomiting them back up. Hope you feel better today 🤗
When I started Methotrexate, the rhuemy nurse said that it was ok to take them a day late but if the gap was longer, I should miss a dose or move my regular day forward.
I have done that a few times, my rheumy told me it was ok, as long as you can do it as close as you can to your usual day and don't do it too often. However as we say so many times we are all different so you should check with your health team as well. Hope you are feeling better soon.
Sorry you're not feeling well. Caveat not medically qualified, but long time user of MTX.
I postponed my dose at the weekend from Sunday eve to Monday eve so I would enjoy a family lunch.
Other times I've stretched the weekly time to ten days, depending on if going away, or getting round other events.
