Jaw pain
I have had that jaw pain too, it’s not nice is it. It’s called TMJ or torambidular joint, ( sorry wrong spelling). mine got better in the end on its own, but yes it followed tooth surgery. You will be ok, try and relax, a warm hot water bottle might help a little bit.
I had it too, for no reason. I went to the dentist who said it must be RA. It came and went for a while , but haven't had it for years now. Painful to eat I remember. Hope you get it sorted
I’ve had it too and I also put it down to RA. I (There was no other reason for it) but it was very painful, and it did clear up on its own after a while. I just took painkillers for the pain.
Hope yours clears up soon x
I have ankylosing spondylitis, and suffered with jaw symptoms that also caused vascular lesions on my tongue, as well as spasms. Temple pain, tender scalp and pulsatile tinnitus. I seen an oral medicine consultant who confirmed it was rheumatoid in nature. My MTX was increased which settled it down. Doesn’t bother me much at all, except for jaw cramps when chewing something like crusty bread, apples or wine gums
I've had jaw pain. It was a little frightening at the time, took ibruprofen and it went. That was several years ago.i did mention it to the specialist nurse.
When I was first diagnosed with RA I had a full body flare up including my jaw. It’s so uncomfortable, you have my full sympathy and hope you get it under control soon. 🤞🤞
hi I had 2 jaw flares
I felt like I been hit with a 1 2 punch in face. It was awful. Fortunately I started prednisone the next day and it disappeared.
