Homecare Glasgow - Failure to Deliver

Hello Lovely People

I am having serious problems with Homecare Glasgow, who have failed to deliver my biological therapy on 3 consecutive dates. I am reaching out to anyone in Scotland who has found themselves in similar circumstances. I understand that I am not the only person who's experiencing these issues and if you are too then please let me know.

I'm in Scotland too, my meds come from Healthnet, so far no problems. My next delivery is due 19th September 🤞.

Thank you Mmrr. The problem appears to be with this particular company so I'm sure you will be ok with your delivery.

Can you change your company or are you stuck with them? Would it make any difference if you spoke to your MP about it.

I know in England they will get involved in some situations like that.

Thank you Fruitandnutcase. My MP is acting on behalf of a number of patients and my local hospital pharmacist has been fantastic and been able to get me a month's supply of my weekly injections directly from the pharmaceutical company to the hospital.

that’s good news but it’s shocking things should get to this stage isn’t it. You need your meds and you definitely don’t need the worry.

What company is it that delivers your medications. We've been asked by the British Society for Rheumatology to let them know about any such issues so please do drop me an email at [e-mail] with more detail. While I can't promise we will be able to remedy any current issues if we can identify common themes this will give us and the BSR more evidence of what issues there are out there.
