Research on metho pause after covid jab
Wonder if it is this research from Nottingham University you mean - dailymail.co.uk/health/arti...
Just heard it on the BBC Radio 4 news - pause Methotrexate for 2 weeks after vaccination but only with consultant's approval.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.I'm glad to hear that research has been done on it. Advice has varied so much , but I suppose that was because no one really knew what the potential effects / benefits were. My rheum nurse was telling me to pause it when I had my first jab, then later I was told to only pause the biologic. I'd also been told to pause meds two weeks before and after, then only after . Hopefully this will now give us some clarification.

I've stopped my meds (mtx and enbrel) for all 4 of my covid vaccinations even though it was against advice at the time. I'm in remission so I'm okay to do it. I thought it was silly taking drugs that suppressed my immune system when at the same time the covid vaccine relied on my immune response to work, it was a no brainer for me, looks like I was right all along.
