Tested positive - anyone know where I can find guidelines re methotrexate dosing and positive test?

Trying to find the guidelines re testing positive and taking methotrexate jab, anyone able to send any links across to me please? Thanks in advance 👍

I haven’t any links but was told to stop by my rheumatologist until I tested negative.

Do not take/inject with an infection

I had same couple of weeks ago. Had telephone appointment with rheumatologist same day by chance. She said stop until I feel better. Then start again either usual day, or first day that I am not having symptoms.

The advice is to stop MTX till you test clear. Continue and you risk worsening the symptoms, it is not worth it. I was told you have to feel well & test negative to restart

I was told any infection stop methotrexate jabs until better. Tell your Rheumy nurse you have COVID too. If you are on 20mg plus of MTX I believe you can get antiviral medication to help ease symptoms.

I would contact your GP surgery as you May be eligible for monoclonal antibody treatment or antivirals. Your rheumatology team should be advising you on your medication,
