Rheumatologist recommendations south coast

I’ve been referred to a rheumatologist as I have a positive RA. I’d like to go private. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good rheumatologist please? I’m in Bournemouth, Dorset but willing to travel

Mr . Richard Smith ( Rheumatoid / All arthritis conditions )

Salisbury nhs Foundation Trust Hospital.

Excellent , but don’t go private , I see him as a nhs patient.

Been his patient 12 years and he’s absolutely brilliant.

Very popular with the staff ( which says a lot I always feel )

Always lovely and cheerful = very relatable.

Hi there is likely to be a fair wait on nhs, you can go private and get transferred to him on nhs as well then at least you can get treatment quicker at this early stage
