Phone call from Job centre

I had a call on my message machine today from local job centre saying they will write to me with a time for a return call but with no reason why they need to speak to me I am 64 and receive PIP and am in the support group FOR ESA. My pip was due for reassessment in November this year but received a letter months ago saying this had been extended until August 2023 and I have not been given a reassessment date foe ESA . I livecin Scotland and over the next year PIP is moving over to the Scottish Government fir administration. I am feeling stressed that they are going to expect me to look for work I thought that terrifies me my mobility is very poor and is worse than when I was initially assessed for PIP. Add in the aftereffects of Covid and I feel extremely stressed. Has any one experienced a similar situation.

Hi mj Does the Jobcentre not have to keep up with how you are even if in the ESA Support group? It is probably just a routine call for that purpose… they are not part of the new Scottish Social Security system, nor does the Jobcentre deal with PIP. Your award letter for ESA should tell you what you must do and what you can choose to do if inclined to.
