Cymbalta Side Effect?
Sorry i can't help you.xxxx
Hi ScottishLass1958I think that you might get more helpful responses on this particular subject if you post on one of the other forums on healthunlocked as this one is primarily for Rheumatoid Arthritis. Maybe try Anxiety and Depression Support?
Hiya ScottishLass1958. I would think you've searched for Cymbalta & it's led you here? Whilst a few members here may be prescribed it Cymbalta is not a generally prescribed med on this forum, not for Rheumatological conditions anyway, the primary conditions here. You could try other Healthunlocked forums where it is by using the Search Healthunlocked box. You'll find lots more posts discussing it.
Just a tip, the generic name for Cymbalta is duloxetine. By using that it will expand the amount of posts discussing it… there are around 10 pharmaceutical companies producing it here. Using the brand name, of which it is one of only 4 in the UK, will limit your search. Of course you could also try searching Cymbalta, or any other brand in the US, there will be fewer posts but still worth trying if you don't find the specific answers you need.
I hope you find the help you're wanting. It must be distressing if it's only started since taking it & it's prescribed use works well for you.
That is exactly what happened-I searched for information on Cymbalta and it led me here. I had no idea that this was a forum for RA. I thought it was for anxiety. I am switching to a more appropriate forum. Thanks for the advice about duloxetine. I am in the US. We always use the brand name, even if a generic is available just because the brand is easier to say and spell. I will ask about duloxetine, since Healthunlocked are apparently forums in the UK.
I have experienced urinary incontinence while on this drug. I tried pelvic floor exercises but they had no effect. I finally saw my Gp again and told her. She changed my drug and the In continence went away. Hope this helps.
It happens. There are HU forums based in the US too, so maybe you'll happen across them in your search. This will start you off healthunlocked.com/search/p... You'll find the number of posts discussing duloxetine under Filter results… go to View top 10 communities & tap.
