3rd Covid vaccination and timing of Cimzia injection

I thought this might be of interest to other members on Biologics.

Just had an appointment made for my 3rd Covid vaccination.

I contacted my Rheumatology team for advice regarding the timing of my Cimzia injections. The Covid vaccination is due a Thursday, my Cimzia injections are on the Thursdays either side of the appointment.

The advice I was given was not to inject Cimzia on same day as the vaccination.

Of course if you have any doubts you should check with your own medical team.

I did take cimzia injections but did not help me. I am taking Rinvoq & I feel great! I was told 2 weeks separation from the vaccinations. If you r on injections. With my Rinvoq pill they told Me do not take it for 1 week AFTER the vaccine.

I will have a week either side of the vaccination so I should be fine. Good to hear you have found a treatment that is working for you.
