Hand

Hi everyone

Hope your all staying safe. I’m having a real flare up on my hand today really painful and that awful tingling feeling and numbness with a couple of fingers. Any hints on calming it down till it wears off? We’ve been painting a couple of rooms and I’ve overdone it. Thanks

Try a nice warm bath with epsom salts in it. xxxx

Alternate hot and cold water bathing or a cold compress quite often helps. I've got some long squishy gel filled compresses which are quite soothing for sore hands and wrists.

I found nice cool water was very soothing when this happened to me Sylvia.

I like to use a liniment that changes the pain. For example instead of throbbing a slight burning sensation feels a lot better.

Hiya, I always keep a pair of frozen gloves for when this happens. Just dampen some fabric gloves and put them in the freezer for a couple of hours. When my hands are inflamed the gloves really help to cool them. I also use frozen socks too.
