I have a phone call with my mp next week as I had contacted him regarding the plight of immune suppressed /compromised community so I will definitely be raising this with him

I was recently interviewed by bbc local news and also Sky as I have been so incensed at lack of acknowledgment of us

Hopefully this will be a step forward but can see lots of it disappearing under the radar - let’s hope not

It’s very good to hear from someone who is being so proactive about this. Thanks for fighting the fight for us.

That’s really interesting, thank you for posting. Please do tell us more if and when you are able to. This is what I wanted to do and still hope to with my local MP. I was speaking with my husband about doing so recently. I do hope it isn’t going to disappear either as I think a certain couple of politicians would be quite ok with that tbh. Good luck with your phone call next week.

Interesting, there is always a risks in having any vaccine. Usual the benifits far out way the risks.I was fortunate in taking vitamin D for years so only had very mild covid symptoms. As such my immune system over rides the need for a vaccine.

But If doesn't mean this new type of vaccine can't be used to treat other problems.

It is still early days, most side effects are known. Hopefully long term effects will be few and far between. If so then we could be seeing new treatments for many different health issues.

Hithis is really interesting, thank you for posting it.

I have had a very poor vaccine response and have been trying to get revaccinated with a different brand to see if it helps. Been met with a brick wall from my GP and CCG as government guidelines do not cover this. I keep getting fobbed off with the mention of a Booster which as far as I am aware has neither been confirmed nor timetabled at the moment. It seems to me that clinicians should decide if it is medically indicated that a patient needs additional vaccines/medication and also that they should be able to get such CEV patients tested for antibodies if they request it, otherwise we are really all playing Russian Roulette. I did pay for a test but you shouldn't have to. I have bought all this up to my MP and also this APPG document and asked him what he is proactively doing for his CEV constituents. If you feel able I would urge anybody to contact their MP about this. We are all voters and if we don't remind them that we are here we may slip down their list of priorities and possibly even fall off it!

I absolutely agree these things give us more power to push for reforms - after all we are talking about a fairly small number of U.K. citizens and it wouldn’t be difficult to implement the simpler points such as antibody tests involving us in trials vaccine boosts etc

We should not be marginalised in society and I definitely am going to keep pushing for acknowledgment and progress

Me too. After all if we get sick we will undoubtedly take up a hospital bed and maybe an intensive care bed just adding to the growing problems with waiting lists. If there is a relatively inexpensive way of avoiding this then on a value for money basis alone it would be ridiculous not to pursue it.
