That's bad luck if it's happened to you but I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question. I'm doing everything I can to avoid getting Covid as my drug is Rituximab and I've been warned that I am very vulnerable. Feeling really nervous about next week ... ☹️

I’m assured old age is far more of a problem than Rtx…so If Covid finds me…I shall lie about my age🙅

Well when you get to my age you have usually got to realise that being careful & just soldiering on is the only way to go.Nobody I know who has contracted Covid in this country has any idea where they picked it up …..so why worry about something you have absolutely no control over ?

The older you get…..the more lying about your age becomes a necessity! 🙆

The data shows that the people doubled jabbed tend to get less severe covid symptoms , are hospitalised less from the illness and same with fatality numbers after 2 jabs it much much less. I hope you feel better soon, do take vitamin d x ( link : John Campbell You tube and the Zoe app.

You are right. Vitamin D is very important. My son is a scientist and has explained the benefits to us. We all take 4000 iu per day. The maximum safe dose.

I’ve had both Pfizer jabs I am on Benepali No problems at all

I have not had the vaccines but have been told to get the letter for Pfizer or modena but I have had covid TWICE I might add while on chemo cytoxics and was not a great experience as had no immunity. My advice would be to take extra vitamin supplements prior phosphates calcium magnesium vit d and a multi as this is the one thing it depletes which has a huge effect on body function especially muscles and blood.

Chat with your doctor ASAP about a vaccine schedule and where you will receive this. They should formulate a plan for you.

Hi are you still having the vaccine even though you have had Covid twice, is there a need for you to have the vaccine now. I am worried about having the vaccine because l have rheumatoid arthritis, and it’s just a experimental vaccine and I am worried about the long-term effects it would have on our health.

Immunity only lasts for 180dqys apparently. The vaccine is not 100% and you can still get covid just not as bad. I have not got it as yet as my last episode was Feb and still unsure although st Thomas say it is good to go now.

Yes I’m on rituximab. Had both jags, a bit further apart than normal but no problems. I had to wait four weeks after infusion before I could have jag but nhsScotland organised that for me without any problem.

Hope you don’t feel really ill since vaccine is supposed to reduce severity. Take care.

On RTX and had 2 AZ vaccines. No reactions at all. Trouble is I don't know if they worked with the reduction in the immune system. I have made enquiries and no one can tell me. It seems that there are large studies going on to check. In the meantime, I am being cautious. We are now responsible for our own protection. Not sure how I can make everyone else put on their masks!!

Yes I have. I asked my GO if it was okay and he said yes. It did me no harm at all. I suppose it is up to the individual. Hope this has helped in your decision.
