the migraine drama aside (seems to be under control with the Topiramate fingers crossed) the inflammatory arthritis issues however have crept back with a vengeance as the drugs from hospital wore off. I had also taken Prednisolone for about a week before going in and was blissfully pain free.

My right shoulder is, I'm pretty certain damaged and I have limited movement now. Dressing, putting hair up, showering, putting seat belt on, even using the steering wheel is extremely painful and the whold arm sometimes goes limp in certain positions. The left is not fat behind. Both elbows are pulsating with pain and today the wrists kicked off again. In addition , about 2 months ago I started to get very similar sort of pinching and aching pain in both groins with limited movement. It came on really quickly. first the throbbing then within about a week I was getting excrutiating pain getting in and out of the car or stepping a certain way to the left - enough to make me shout.

What on earth is going on with my body?? does anyone else have this with the groins?

I'm sorry to hear you are suffering so much. It does sound as if you need to contact rheumatology again. As far as the groin pain goes, yes, I have groin pain, it can be referred from your back or hip and is very sore.

Hi Mmrr - is the groin thing RA?

I have a slipped disc af the moment, which may be causing the groin pain, but RA hip issues may also cause it.

I have groin pain, diagnosed as osteoarthritis of the hip. Limited movement too. I have a less than joyful mix of RA and OA.Nobody's yet blamed the groin on my spine/neurology issues (yet?!!)

hi greynot - is it in both sides?

No, just one. And the x-ray does show OA. The ortho guy says it's not bad enough for replacement...I say ouch. The other side doesn't have groin pain and has more lateral movement. There's some OA there but not as much.
