New meds are different. So is hydroxychloroquine the same as hydroxychloroquine sulfate or should I not take new batch

All the brands of hydroxy I know of are actually hydroxychloroquine sulphate, like plaquenil and quinoric.

Yes they are the same. You can access the BNF website ( British national formulay ) to see for yourself or ask your pharmacist. Always best to check.
