Has anyone experienced really bad flare up pain after having Covid jab? . I am on Ritixamub and was due to have my infusion Dec. 2020, but this infusion was not required at the time as I had no pain. It started to get worse about March this year, by then I had had my 1st Covid jab, next one was not due till May 8th. My pain was getting worse and rheumy told me I could not have my infusion till 1 month after 2nd Covid jab. I called the hospital to arrange this and owing to the backlog in treatment, can’t have infusion till 1st week in July. Was not expecting to have the pain that I got after my jab on Saturday, it totally floored me. Anyone else experienced this ?

I had a huge flare after my 2nd Pfizer vaccine which floored me for about 5 days then gradually settled. I know it's hard to deal with, but the protection from the vaccine for me outweighed the after effects. Hope your pain settles soon, maybe too up your pain relief and rest as much as you can. Xxx
I had a flare after my first AZ jab but it did die down after a while. If you are really suffering I suggest you ask whether an earlier date for your next infusion is possible.
Which vaccine did you do? Moderna? I did PFIZER, I had malaise for 36 hours just like when I had COVID March 2020, but with COVID I had malaise and worse for about 12 weeks. My 2nd PFIZER was awful for 36 hours, chills and the awful awful body aches and sensory pain similar to the rheumatoid/psoriatic arthritis flares.
