Super strange shin sensation

So I have had shin struggles for years, but lately it has just been too much. Las year I had a stress reaction in my left shin, and I have healed from that. However, in October, I started to experience a weird sensation in my left shin. It was as if I suddenly became hyperaware of the presence of my shin, and it felt weaker than my right leg (but not painful). Eventually it developed into a horrible shin splint, so bad that it ended my collegiate career because I would be unable to walk halfway through practice. I tried rest, prolotherapy, cupping, everything. A month later, I'm back to the strange sensation I had in October and I want it gone. I have done no ground contact activity since my career ended a month ago and I feel like I should be healing. I had low vitamin D, but my retested levels are normal now. I can't afford all the testing that I want done, so I need advice on why my left leg is acting so strange and developing such horrible shin splints.

I feel for you . This sounds horrible. I guess only a consultant can answer your questions. I’ve never even heard of this before.

Have you got reffered to a consultant? Im seeing orthopeadics on friday for the same sounding problem and an injured knee.
