I had my 2nd Pfizer jab last Friday, I had a sore arm over the weekend as per, but yesterday (Tuesday)developed a painful shoulder which made it difficult to use my arm. Took paracetamol, as you do, still sore this morning. Any thoughts? Thanks lovely people, have a good day.

Yes had second pfizer and got the same. It sorted after about a week x just did my usual RA stuff , painkillers, cold pads etc, but if course see the doc if it doesnt settle xxx
The initial reaction like sore spot on arm you get is from your body’s innate immune system. But it takes a few days for your adaptive immune system (T calls and B cells) to react so common to get different reactions after a few days.
(And if you don’t get any reaction it doesn’t mean your immune system not working - we are all different.)
(Also a Freddie fan if you mean Mercury! Hugely so.) Had exactly the same with Pfizer 2, (but I do have an osteo shoulder) but it did make my whole upper arm heavy and feel much more bruised although nothing to see. For 5 days then after a week back to normal. It wasn’t just as though I’d felt a little pain exactly where the needle went. Try use your arm a bit but don’t weight bear on it and hope it’s back to normal very soon. x
