Can the Covid vaccine affect your ESR and CRP levels as my most recent ones are extremely high but these were taken two days after my COVID vaccine. Thanks in advance.

I’m not sure if that is something that is being monitored. Were your levels ok the last time you had bloods done? Are you on a new med?
I’ve had RA for 5 years and bloods rarely show inflammation but I had a blood test 2 weeks after my vaccine and both ESR and CRP were at their highest ever.
Interesting, I have a bloods appointment for the day after my 2nd dose. I will make sure I mention it to the nurse.
I had a blood test just before my second vaccine. ESR and CRP levels had both come down after 3 months on Baricitinib. I've not had another blood test yet, but I had the worst flare ever the day after the jab and four weeks on, I'm still struggling. I suspect my ESR and CRP to be raised, as they reflect how I'm feeling 9 times out of 10. I'm just hoping it'll all sort itself out in the next few weeks.
I ended up having. A blood test before and after. Just routine and that’s how they fell. The one before was normal. Low levels of inflammations. The one after all sorts of things were “abnormal”The nurse wasn’t sure but said the vaccine could have been a factor. We are repeating them now just to see.
Morning. After my second Pfizer I was a bit run down and ‘fluey’ for a couple of days. I thought it was my body just fighting harder than usual. I would ask for another blood test two weeks to the date of your jab. Any ‘extra’ symptoms should be gone by then so the results will ‘just’ be your RA. Also. I have flares brought on when I am stressed, so that could be another issue. Just look after yourself & be gentle x
Also. Having reread above. Your Mx has probably not ‘kicked in’ yet. It can take a while x
