I’m not sure I understand the question - are you looking for recommendations for a private rheumatologist? You don’t really get to choose an NHS consultant, although you can usually ask to be referred to a specific hospital. I’m Surrey based and currently receiving NHS treatment at the Royal Surrey in Guildford.
Ahhh Charlie you can ask for a consultant ... I did ... I searched up and found the person I wanted and I have a rheumy in his team 🙂 ... Page 2 third paragraph.

Well, I’ll be. You learn something new every day 😂
Of course they probably would prefer we don’t know this 🤷🏻♀️
I am from Surrey and I believe the main department for Reumatology is at East Surrey Hospital. I am under Dr Sian Griffith, she and her team are wonderful.
Not trying to be argumentative, but as far as I’m aware, there’s no main department within the county - it’s entirely geographical due to the county size and hospital trust based. East Surrey is Surrey and Sussex Trust, covering east Surrey and parts of West Sussex, whereas the RSCH is it’s own foundation trust covering west Surrey. Dedicated rheumatology is offered at every major hospital in the county, including Ashford and St. Peter’s. You normally get referred to whichever one is closest, although you can request a referral elsewhere.
