Elbow injections!

Yeah got appt in April for these after my telephone chat with rheumy in January. I’ve had wrists and shoulder injections before. What should I expect in terms of elbow injections? I was in A LOT of pain after wrist injections, less so shoulder ones. I’m so pleased. 🥳

I have personally found the smaller joints such as wrists and fingers can feel more uncomfortable, but that depends on what inflammation if any you have going on around the joint. It may feel a little tight if it’s an inflamed area already as it goes in, but any brief discomfort is worth the good effects the steroid injection will bring. If you’ve had wrist ones, then you’ll tolerate elbow ones well I am very sure. Good luck and hope you get much relief. ❤️

Thank you!

Great news that you're getting the injections. I got a lot of relief when I needed them and it was worth going through the temporary discomfort. Personally I found the wrist injections more painful than the elbow ones. Best of luck and I hope it helps you x
