Has anyone experience any underarm pain related to RA? I've been diagnosed with RA for 2 years now and recently had this pain. I don't have any swollen lymph nodes that I can feel. I went to the ER last night among other problems. I had a chest xray done due to chest pain. CT scan and urine test. due to low abdominal pain. I also mentioned the underarm pain, but doc didn't seem to worry because cbc came back normal along with other blood work. He mentioned to follow up with my pcp, but I'm still worried without not knowing exact cause. I don't meet with pcp until another week. I also read somewhere that underarm can be related to RA. Has anyone experience this before?

It's one of the few places I haven't had pain. It could be referred from the spine, or connected to the chest pain you are getting. You should ask your medical team what they think as you sound a bit complicated!
Hi KT. I have had this, I usually only notice if I tuck something under my arm to carry it, but it is very strange. I also check for lymph nodes but nothing there. I've never mentioned it to doctor but assume it's RA related.
I get a lot of under arm pain I haven't asked my doctor about it yet! I have had it about a year now. It's not all the time. Comes and goes. But when it's painful its unbareabl! X
Thanks Carolsos! It's not excruciating, but definitely causing a lot of discomfort. There are days where it goes away, but it's been more frequent lately. Just overly concerned.
