Well it's only taken me several many years, but having woken up feeling exhausted this morning, and dragged myself around to do the usual wash/dress/eat routine, I was wondering what was going on, as I did absolutely nothing yesterday. Then I started getting twinges in the old fingers and knees and elbow and... bingo - it's a mild flare. Can't believe I've only just twigged that unexplained exhaustion = maybe a flare's coming, but at least I got there in the end. So I'm installed on the sofa, with water, laptop and TV at hand. No embroidery for me today! Stay cosy, all.
Early flare signs - finally cottoned on: Well it's only... - NRAS
Early flare signs - finally cottoned on
Hope it passes soon x
Hurrah, you are in control of it now rather than the other way around !! Gentle hugs , rest up xxx
Takes things easy and keep feet up xxx
I hope it's short-lived. 🤞 xx
Sometimes we can be late to catch on, but you have now so I say a duvet day is called for. Let your body rest, hopefully it will remain mild & will pass quickly. x
This my early warning sign.. sometimes I can just get the fatigue and slowness and avoid the swelling etc if I just stop but with work etc it’s not always possible.
Sometimes fighting it and making yourself feel worse is not worth it, so being sensible and having a sofa/TV/reading day is. 💗
Curl up and be kind to yourself 💐
Well done. It is great to at least realise what is going on. Have the same problem, never recognise the signs of an impending flare until it really kicks in. After all these years thought I would but no.
Pamper yourself.
