I didn't know this! VAT exemption!!!!

Hope this finds you as well as can be today.

I was reading a news article about best masks...blah, blah blah. One things leads to another and I'm looking at masks. One of them asked if I'm going to pay VAT on it on checkout! 🤔

So, me being me, I loved up who gets away with not paying VAT: those who have a disability and those with a chronic disease....hold up, shot the front door....that's me!

For those who don’t know there is an outlet called The Care Shop where you can purchase items minus VAT with no rigmarole....you just self declare.

I bought a couple of really useful magnifying glasses with a light to read all those instructions written in pale grey on white paper!

I bought a couple of years ago a rise recliner from a local furniture shop and he didn't have to ask but mentioned was I VAT exempt. He gave me a small form to complete and I got the VAT deducted from the bill.
