I am taking methotrexate for my RA i developed

terrible ringing in my ear is there anything i could do about it

Hi tired. I can’t tell you if it the MTX but any side effects contact your team no matter how small.

I had ringing in my ears I thought it was my biologic but it turned out it was the naproxen.

I have just increased my mtx dose and the ringing in my ears has returned. It happens every dosage increase. Dont know how it is stopped, but it does settle eventually .

Thanks for the info I started on the methotrexate four months ago I hope it quiets down soon

I already had quite mild tinnitus when I started MTX which got a little bit worse, but became quite bad when I went on to Sulfasalazine.
