Groin crease!

So it's been a while since I have posted anything.... Yup be honest nothing much has changed. Fibro kicking my butt and rheumatoid very active.. But now I feel its time to pester my rhuemy over my groin crease pain! Almost weekly it will get me and man does it hurt and incapacitate!

Groin crease is often from osteoarthritis in hips, so maybe pester GP?

I have this occasionally and it can be agonising and very limiting. Can go from my normal brisk walking style to a bad and painful limp within a few hours. I had MRI of my hip and full physical exam - no OA in it at all So it got put down to RA by rheum cons. Goes back to normal after a few days or a week

This is an interesting subject as I used to get groin pain so badly when I was sixteen that I used to walk about doubled over sometimes. I ended up in hospital for investigations but nothing was ever found. Over the years it went away, but then came back when I had glandular fever at the age of 29 and that also lasted for a long time.

I wonder now if that was an early sign of R.A. an O.A. because so many things from my childhood seem to show that I might have even had it when I was a child. Sadly I can't give you any advice but I did find that having a hot water bottle (not too hot) held there sometimes helped a bit.

I've not tried a hot water bottle there... Maybe delicate for a guy who's testes are outside for cooling etc lol. But yes I can't even lift the leg. I end up in bed for a day or two.
