Antihistamine and swelling

As you know I’m really struggling with the weather. 30 mins ago things became really bad. Feet so swollen skin stretched. Tight and shiny felt like my skin was going to split open and became incredibly itchy. Took an antihistamine ( Benadryl relief) Honestly it has made a difference yes the itching has gone but the pressure has lessened both on hands and feet and some swelling reduced. Not a cure but has helped.

Put your feet in a cold water bath then turn your ankles around and around. Keep them up if possible

Ouch I hope you get some relief soon. Could try Deep Freeze gel I used it on shingles to cool in down it did work.

So do you think it's some kind of allergic reaction that's causing the swelling maybe ?

We have not had any storms or rain today which was forecast and probably been the hottest day here yet. I’ve just said to Billy cat I’m planning to sleep in my walk in shower on my perching stool tonight. 🤣. I’ll get my bags packed. Couldn’t be in better company. 😊 x

Don’t fall off your perch 😂😂😂yes it’s been a very very uncomfortable day . I thought Darcy was on her last legs. Wet towels on the floor and another to cover her then the fan on . While I just lay down feet in ice water. X

Ha I’m all in for the R.A. island count me in 😃. My feet are just the same absolutely horrendous pain and swelling feels like if I put a pin in my ankles all the fluid that would drain out would water the whole garden. Im slightly increasing my salt intake because it’s so hot I’m swelling and sweating so much have to say I feel better for it I don’t normally have salt on or in anything unless I can help it but definitely helping to hydrate me better. Antihistamines are a daily thing for me too. Fingers crossed the heat is nearly done with and judging by the thunder that’s rumbling atm we may even have a little rain good for the garden not for the joints lol.
