its a tag system if you are allergic to things after I had an anaphylactic reaction was advised to make sure I had info about it etc. So I have my ICE tag on phone and a neck chain. Just does a medical alert.
I think it also stands for In Case of Emergencies. I have my husbands number on my phone and vice versa under ICE in case either of have an accident and they need to contact the other one.
Hi Patsy, it means Incase of Emergency. As an ex A&E nurse , if we had an unconscious patient we would scroll down to their contacts and see if there was an ICE. It's often next of kin etc.
Also some people keep their medical info in a disc on their windscreen, similar bro the old tax disc system. It's not obviously on display but says ICE, and if you were in an RTC the paramedics/firecrew check that for details of medical conditions or medications
Thanks for that info , I guess it doesn't work if I have phone lock on tho , I managed to put a screenshot of meds I take which anyone can see but with having the phone lock on stops anyone being able to go to contacts x

Emergency info is usually entered in to your phone via the settings.
