Yes I’m entanercept working better than other drugs but not quite there yet.no side effects
Thanks j1707, good to know.
watch this space. may take a while to start new drug ,what with covid etc.
Good luck . Your right Covid is delaying so many treatments
Yes Humira, 12 years, has worked well for me. Good luck. X
Barely started Humira (my first biologic--look at me! I'm all grown up now!) will administer my 4th injection next Fri. But also on Prednisone 12mg. So waiting to see when Humira kicks in. I feel OK... But honestly I think Prednisone is doing all the heavy lifting, as tapering it has been very difficult!
I have pred. as back up for bad flares, the tapering off takes time. otherwise its co-codemol
all the way
coming off Baricidinib soon to start TNF, second bio, Its a mine-field out there trying to navigate the different drugs.
good luck with Humira.
.
Oh gosh... Tell me about it. I'm trying to stay positive... although it's hard. I wish you the best... Some ppl do exceptionally well with humira! My neighbor said it gave her her life back in a matter of days and she had no side effects. Of course, she's lucky and we're all different. But we can certainly hope for that eventuality!
Iv been on benepali for 3 years thats stopped working so iv been swapped to amgevita im hoping this is better only dont one injection so not feeling it yet but good luck on ur injection xx
I think it depends on where you live. During my shielding period I have been on 3 different biologics. 2 have been started during lockdown and they arranged for full bloods to be taken at my home. I’m very lucky
I had a blood test at my local surgery during shielding , it was very
well executed , no worries at all.
In Aberdeen none of the surgeries are accepting people in the surgery unless a GP has requested it. All prescriptions are sent to chemists, and the district nurses are pooled resources where upon requests go to the pool and they send a nurse.
When I went to the surgery for bloods, I waited in the car, nurse collected me (I wore a mask) nurse in full ppe, I was the only person there,no doors to open, nothing to touch ,nurse washed her hands for a long time. used NEW rubber band off roll for arm .she walked me out to door. got in car, sanitised hands job done.
We order our meds online and kind neighbour picks up.
I live in Sussex.
