Habe you had the all clear from your blood tests? Have they had the funding authorisation yet? Have they set up the prescription with whoever is to deliver it to you? Have you had a training session?

There are a lot of steps that need to happen and things are slow at the moment.

Sadly it can take some time for clearance from the rheumy to the pharmacy to the med company/supplier. I fell foul of this in 2014 and hospital lost my chest X-ray and blood tests and pharmacy script and communication breakdown between pharmacy and health care company. I was going downhill by the day. Always best to give them a nudge if it’s taking a long time.

Two weeks isn’t long to wait I’d give them a bit longer. Things are slower than usual and I waited longer than that for my first delivery in ‘normal’ times 😊

Healthcare at home are great once they get started but setting up takes a long time - I waited more than 2 months - and wasted a lot of time on hold -phoning To ask what was happening.

Things move slowly unfortunately

Sorry to say this but sadly two weeks isn't a long time in medical terms. You would probably have to wait longer than that if you went privately. That is how busy they are. Just hang in there. They won't have forgotten you. I hope you hear soon. x
