Hello,
I'm posting on behalf of my friend who has been offered the anti-TNF drug Simponi/Golimumab for Ankylosing Spondylitis and RA.
Please can anyone share their experiences of this drug?
Thanks so much,

Hello, I see no responses so I thought I'd just say hello and I don't have any experience. Hope your friend - and you are ok just now, cathie
I too don't know this drug...I'm on MTX and infliximub....sometimes I feel better sometimes I don't. I hope your friend finds some respite from the drugs given.
Hi Tilly,
I took my first injection on Monday evening of simponi and touchh wood, so far so good. I am taking it alongside Mtx tabs and really hoping that this may be the solution for me. So afraid I cant really say much about if it works or not.
take care,
Sandie x
Thank you Cathie, Trulyfedup and Sandie for taking the time to reply.
My friend asked me to say to you, Sandie, that she hopes you have good results from the Simponi.
Thanks again,
Tillyx
Hi there, I've been taking Simponi for just over 12 months now, I was on Enbrel but was getting injection sight reactions.
Touch wood Simponi has been working for me, no reactions or bad side effects. I am a bit more tired the day after taking Simponi, and sometimes feel a bit more stiffness, but usually goes over the next couple of days, but apart from that no other effects.
I also take Methatrexate by injection once a week and Sulphasalazine 4 tabs a day.
I have R.A and have had it for almost 10 years.
Hope this has helped and hope it works for your friend, let me know how they get on.
Narna xx
Thanks so much for your reply Narna - and I am pleased that Simponi is working for you with no bad reactions or side effects. I will pass this encouraging info on to my friend.
Thanks again,
Tillyx
