Hi All being put on a jak inhibitor drug Baricitinib because Imraldi didn't work.Reading the paperwork about it doesn't fill me with confidence as just endured 6 months of misery. Is anyone on it how do you find it? Many thanksXx

If you put that into the search box and filter for NRAS then all the posts about it will come up 😊

Thanks I ll do that now xxx

Hi Chezza56

I’ve been taking Baracitinib+tapering steroids for 10months now, it’s not worked brilliantly for me but it’s my last resort and I wouldn’t not like to take it.

What works for one might not suit another so it’s definitely worth trying, hopefully a step in the right direction for you.

I’ve just had a phone call today from my Rhumy nurse telling me my cholesterol has been slowly increasing over this time. Next step to stop them for 3wks then bloods done, if still raised it’s a statin off GP or an increase in steroids if I flare.🙈🙈grrrrr 🤗X

Hi I’ve just started taking this 3 weeks ago after being in the worst flare for a year. I feel lots better already I’m just keeping everything crossed I don’t get any side effects or have to come off it.

I wasn’t very hopeful either when I read the paperwork. I’d just had a severe reaction to rituximab so wasn’t able to take that.

Good luck with them....really hope you get some relief from them

I was on Enbrel and methotrexate before hand.

Thanks Claire
