Hearing loss

Hi everyone

Week two of triple therapy DMARDS.... had blood test this morning so I’m hoping all is well. I’m feeling not too bad?....tire easily.... feel pretty good, do more than I should and much myself up the next couple of days but I’m learning the P.....word.....pace.... can anyone help me, I suffered with menieres around 12 years ago.... it’s been under control for a good while but now I appear to have lost the hearing again in my bad ear....I think it’s since I’ve been taking the steroids?..... I’m not dizzy but I am deaf as a post in one ear?

I would speak to your GP if you’ve lost your hearing in one ear, it needs to be checked out as to why 😊

Good morning . Hope things have improved today but Don’t take any chances and wait for it to settle down just in case it causes any permanent damage.

You need to make an urgent appointment and not be fobbed off just in case it is something that requires high dose steroids in a limited time frame. Most hospitals have an urgent ENT slot and this is what you need a referral to.
