Telephone appointment : So I have a telephone... - NRAS
Telephone appointment
I think I would write a checklist of any problems and questions. Hope it goes well.
I had a good telephone consultation a few weeks ago.
I did have my main issues written down along with a few questions. The consultant asked lots of relevant questions too. Good luck.
I have had a few phone calls from the drs and went well and i also have had a video consultation as well. xxxxx
I had a phone consultation on Mon 18 May. It was ok,Im due Retuxamab infusion end of June.I was concerned about my safety,so I asked if it could be done end ofAugust, this was agreed. The consultation was good and I felt my questions were all answered. I tried Bio Similar 2 yrs ago it did not give same result,so switched back to Mabtherma with good result.Make sure you write down everything you want to ask and list of meds good luck.
I've now had two telephone consultations with my consultant and found them very helpful and having written a list of questions/things I wanted to discuss in advance, I actually found I got more answers without the "distraction" of a physical examination.
With regard to bloods, my rheumy sent me a form in the post which allowed me to go and have the bloods tests at my GP surgery rather than having to go into the hospital.
I had a telephone appointment with the rheumatology specialist nurse and it went well very thorough and she asked lots of questions about how my RA was. Said due to the way things are at moment my next retuximab in June has been postponed and is arranging my Dr to give a steroid injection . Also prescription for steroids should things get worse. With regards to bloods get them st Dr and as I'm on the rheumatology Dawn program for bloods these get picked up by them as well as my Dr. Write all you need to ask and make sure you understand all they say. Take care x
