This my other foot as requested
Hi,
Your skin looks very dry and cracked. Have you tried a moisturising foot mask? I get very dry skin and my heels crack because I have autoimmune diseases and I moisturise every day with foot creams and I see a podiatrist to check my nails etc and use a Tea Tree Oil foot mask every so often to stop my feet getting too bad between podiatry appointments. I get the pack from Home Bargains and it's called Tea Tee and Peppermint deep moisturising foot pack. You get 2 plastic boots that contain the moisturising lotion and you put them on your clean feet and put your feet up for 20 minutes. It's worth a try and they cost less than a £1.00 so, if they don't work you've not wasted loads of money on foot creams you cannot use.
Good luck and I hope your feet are better soon.
TT x.
Don't want to be rude but have you got Trench Foot ?
What do you do for a living? Do you have allergies? Also which autoimmune disorder do you suffer from?
I have psoriasis and before starting methotrexate my feet were really bad.
I still get the odd flare up when I am really stressed.
I really do hope you get to see a dermatologist though, but meanwhile ask your dr if you could be tested for allergies. They really shouldn’t leave you like this.
I always use tea tree oil it’s good for soothing skin.
Hope you find something soon to help xx
Wear Cotton socks ,some people can be allergic to lanolin.Have you tried a honey based cream? Don’t soak your feet. Wash and dry gently maybe in warm water with a little olive oil in the bowl.Looks sore for you. Hope this helps.
It looks sore. Maybe wear some
Looks as bad as the other one
Interesting pattern, where the toe and heel areas are "spared" compared to the rest of the foot. I don't have any advice except that a good podiatrist might get to the bottom of it; especially if it involves your footwear or the way you are using your feet at work for 12 hours. My podiatrist discovered I had RA after shrugs from several other doctors. Hopefully you'll connect with a good detective soon. Good luck.
Hi just wanted to let you know that the website “dermnetnz.org” has some excellent articles RE subjects such as your feet. For instance you might like to read “Psoriasis of the palms or soles”. Sometimes these problems can actually be drug induced by some of the medications that we take for our arthritis. (There is an article regarding this also.) It may prove helpful to have a look anyway. Personally I would not be working on feet like that! Put yourself first!
All the best!
That looks like a fungal skin infection... is the skin brittle and peels to the quick? If so, coconut oil on it twice daily ought to help.
