Pain management
I am so sorry for your pain☹️
I wish that I could be of help and offer you some advice, but, I do not have any to give.
Wanted you to know that you are not alone and I’m sending up a prayer for you.
Praying that you are pain free very soon✝️🙏
I have a resting splint and have also used KT tape at times. Occupational health from the nhs made it up for me. So they might be your point of call
It's generally not a good idea to use a joint support all the time as the muscles tend to get weaker. Have you any exercises to strengthen the muscles? Look on the NRAS site if you haven't.
Joint supports are useful for when you know you are going to be using the joints more than usual, for example, going out for a walk, but they need to be well fitting so as not to restrict either movement or circulation. It would be good to have a discussion about supports with a Occupational Therapist as they are the experts.
