I would ask your GP about that or your Rheumy.
Hi I take prescibed calcium and Vit D combined, as I take prednisolone as well as leflunomide, but check first, hope this helps
Best wishes sarah
I do have been taking them since January.x
Did you have to check with doctor/consultant first?
Depends on the dose you intend taking. At other times you might be advised to have a blood test first to discover whether how low in Vit D and then working out what dose to take from that.
If you took everyday amounts (for example in a multivitamin tablet) as do lots of people, it's not likely to cause an overdose, but you would not know if you need to take more than that without a blood test - and that's not a priority right now.
I take both Claire and have been prescribed them by the GP and rheumy so I assume it is ok, but just in case and for your peace of mind, I would ask.
