Hi again everyone!
Just thought I'd do an update from Monday's post, in case anyone might find it helpful
On Monday I posted about a text re: coronavirus. Just to clarify, it was not the general government text that is being sent to everyone. This was specifically from the "NHS Coronavirus Service." (I haven't received any texts yet from the Government).
Yesterday, I received 3 further texts from the NHS Coronavirus Service, making 4 in total. The other 3 were about things like distancing within the household and not sharing cutlery, towels, beds and bathrooms, etc; whether you may need help getting prescriptions etc, and finally, to tell friends and family you are isolating and to try and speak to someone by phone at least once a day.
I assume that anyone who received the same initial text, will also receive the others? It seems as though some areas seem to be sending them quicker than others so many of you may be yet to receive the initial text.
As I mentioned before, I live in North Warwickshire and attend clinics under both Warwickshire and Coventry health authorities. Both of these have my mobile number (for texts about clinic appointments, etc). I also have deliveries from Healthcare At Home who have my mobile number too. Just included that as possible ways the NHS coronavirus service has accessed my mobile phone number.
Sorry it's a long message, just trying to think of everything I can to try and clarify things as it's very confusing 🤪😊
It's still not clear whether these texts 'count' as meaning I should be shielding, I suppose I will have to wait and see if I get a letter? Probably best to behave as though it does mean that for now. If I do get a letter I will let you know.
Stay safe everyone 🤞😁
Ps. If anyone would like me to try and post the various texts for you to see and compare, I don't mind giving it a go!
