Hi Guys,

I dont think I'm infected but utterly concerned. Has anyone been infected or know one who has? I work from home so exposure is limited, but today I brave Trader Joe's as I need some vegetables and fruits. I was scared at first because the store was packed but figured I will be quick. 3 hours later not feeling so well. Feeling fatigued now with a headache. Also yawning every 5 to 10 min like I'm lacking oxygen. I'm not wheezing, but feel like I'm lacking air with each breath. Anyone have these symptoms, and maybe my nerves just got the best of be? I tried calling the nurse line but wait is 6 hours..... eeek. Not feeling well yet anxious at the same time.

My friend and her husband have it.

It was in both their cases very specific.

Started with sudden onset of a sore throat, then cough, then sore/wheezy chest .. across 48 hours.. then just feeling absolutely lousy for a further week. Both now on the mend.

No they were both fit and healthy. They are recovering now x

It could be you have stressed yourself out too. Try to relax and some deep breathing exercises etc too. Just a thought .

The advice on the incubation period is changing as more information becomes available, but is regarded as being something around 5 days. So it is most unlikely that you contracted coronavirus this morning and are feeling unwell with it this evening.

Go on the NHS111 website & follow the instructions ....

I sounds like you are have a mild panic attack at the relief of getting home in one piece with your fruit & veggies.

Try breathing into a paper bag to slow down your breathing....that should regulate your breathing.

Have a cup of tea & relax.

I really don’t think the incubation period is 3 hours. No-one knows for sure but more like days.

Hi, I'm a fellow RA, used to be a respiratory therapist before diagnosis.

I honestly don't think that you would be having symptoms so quickly. Incubation period is up to 14 days. Do you have lung issues? I'm a former smoker. I have to get my infusion Monday morning and I must say that I am kinda leery about going. Knocking my immune system in the negatives range. If you can afford it buy you a pulse oximeter. I think they are $50 at Walgreens and it will take your Oxygen level. I have 2 since I have had some bad lung side effects.

But thats the #1 thing that they look at at hospitals. It would be worth it in the long run.

I guess you are on inhalers?

Be diligent in taking them. What are you on?

I'm on Advair and Ventolin. Ventolin only when needed, in which I haven't touched for months.

I would be proactive and do Ventolin 2-4 puffs every 4-6 hours right now. Its ok to take more. It will immediately open you up. Advair is a good prophlactic but some studies said it was bad for asthmatics. My wife takes neb treatments and Advair.

But in case you forgot. First breathe out all your air put inhaler in mouth and push while taking a deep breath. Hold it for 3-5 seconds if possible.

More likely that you have scared yourself half to death. Relax deep breathing, warm bath and a hot tea or toddy. You'll be right.
