Hello all you good people it is boxing day after a blessed Christmas day. But I have struggling with RA and now with the flu on top makes things ten times worse so I have simply decided not to do a thing
Mentally I feel depressed plus the pain and stiffness very emotional and uncomfortable
Thank you all wishing you a good day

Oh bless you, it sounds like you are having a bit of a rough time of things and Christmas can put additional pressures on us to be all singing and dancing when the reality is not everyone will be enjoying the festive period for one reason or another. Is there anything that would help soothe your pain and the way you feel. Are you with family or on your own? It is my first Christmas on my own after a sudden loss only a few months ago. People have been so kind checking in on me, with texts, posts, phone calls etc. Although in the quieter moments I have tried to distract and be kind to myself by listening to music, watching the birds feeding from the bird tables, making a soothing drink and wrapping up in a blanket. While I have no pearls of wisdom, magic wand and don't profess to know how you may be feeling I am sending you some warm wishes and hope that somehow today will be ok. RD is not an easy thing to live with any day of the week but at times like this it can feel depressing when the expectation is people are all celebrating...when perhaps they are not. Take care x
