Anyone had their ulna shortened?

Has anyone ever had their ulna shortened? I've got to have mine done and need to hear from anyone who's had experience of this procedure.

I have a really lovely hand surgeon who's done far two many ops on my hands including three on my wrist which haven't resolved the ulna impaction. This is the last chance saloon scenario. I know that he's worried how badly I'll flare afterwards. Thank you xx

Never heard of this surgery. Why do you need it, is it to alleviate pain or improve function, or both? I've had RA 50 years and have put off elbow surgery since 1998.

It's to improve both. The RA has damaged my wrist so much that I can't rotate it and have pain 24/7 and NO painkillers are touching it. x

Sounds like a nightmare. I wonder why the surgeon didn't fuse your wrist to alleviate pain in the first instance, despite losing mobility in it.

It doesn't need fusing because I can bend it backwards and forwards and thats what wrist fusion deals with. My problem is that I have on any rotation...its a right pain..literally! My hand surgeon is brilliant but then again, he's done so many operations on my hands! It was him that finally got me on biologics because I'd failed all the DMARDS but the rheumatologist at the time just wasn't prepared to put me on biologics despite me meeting ALL the criteria for them. My hand Surgeon gave my rheumatologist a right bolliking...in a very professional way and next thing, I'm on biologics!

Please try the Lazarus Natural CBD oil high potency tincture. I had excruciating pain in my shoulders that pain meds wouldn't touch and couldn't pick up a skillet or anything heavy. I decided to try this and took a dropper full within 1& 1\2 hours I was completely pain free. No RA pain anywhere in my body! This is a miracle drug. My Dr. said she had heard a lot of good things about this. Took me off my RA meds for 4 months to see if it would take away my inflamation

also. If not I would go back on them. I'm beyond excited. It's worth a try.

Thank you for that...I definitely will try that. How often do you take it? xx

1 dropper in the a.m.

and 1 p.m.

There are times my shoulder joint is sore, like it's bruised, but I don't have the radiating pain I've had for over 3 years. There are several different brands out there. Be sure you read up on the ingredients and do research on it. You can also search for the top 15 cbd oils.

Hope it helps!
